Embarkation:: In Colon, Panama. Anytime between 1pm - 5pm
Transfers: Windstar does not offer a transfer on Jan 19th if you are flying in the day of embarkation
SSSC Group Transfers for Jan 19th: We will try to arrange one afternoon group transfers if you are flying in the day of embarkation.
You must be on board no later than 5p
Fly into Panama City Panama PTY.
The embarkation is from Colon, which is 55 miles away - about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the time of day.

Pre-Stay & Logistics:
We will offer an optional 1-night or 2-night Pre-Stay in Panama City, which will include the transfer to the ship in Colon.

Rest up and enjoy a day or two in Panama City. Explore!
We will transfer to the ship at NOON on Jan 19th.

Disembarkation at Puerto Caldera:
This port is due WEST of San Jose (the capital) where you will fly home from (if not continuing on to explore Costa Rica).
Windstar offers a Tour/Airport Drop Off that may interest you - 5 hours. $145pp
Puerto Caldera, Sloth Sanctuary, Artisanal Craft Beer & Airport Transfer
This tour is for disembarking guests with flights 3 p.m. or later - concludes at the airport.

Weather: Central America in January is optimal time to travel! It should be warm days - around 80 degrees - and balmy nights - in the 60's. Always an ocean breeze.
Currency: Both Panamanian Balboa & US dollars
Electric: Ship: 110V Standard US
Hotels: 220 V in the majority of both countries. Plug Adapter required. A Converter may be required, depending on what you are plugging in (some items have a built in converter). Carefully review your device.
